Claims held by Goldstone Resources L.L.C. were formerly explored by Cyprus Amax Minerals Co., who

conducted soil sampling and a series of 11 RC drill holes situated on or near the porphyry exposures (Figure 4). The exploration in those years was focused on discovery of an intrusive-hosted, large, plutonic, low-grade porphyry gold deposit similar to the Ft. Knox Mine. Both ACNC on the Eagle Creek prospect and Cyprus AMAX on the Our Creek claims drilled with that objective in mind but found only porphyry sills with sub-economic gold values. Most holes were intentionally collared on exposed porphyry and ignored overlying schist stratigraphy. The best showing was a 15-foot interval with 2,123 ppb gold (0.07 oz/ton) in the basal section of the sill cut by hole #3 (Figure 4).

North Ridge is a north- to northeast-trending ridge of quartz mica schist overlying carbonaceous schist, biotite schist, and phyllite. It is cut by several porphyry sills that are best exposed as a widespread dip slope exposure in trenches on the southeast slope of the ridge. The sills are folded into a broad northeast-trending anticlinal structure that appears to control the configuration of the ridge. North of the previous drilling shown on Figure 4, the anticlinal axis of the sill complex appears to underlie several hundred feet of mostly carbonaceous and chloritic schist. Farther to the northeast the sills are either down faulted or plunge gently in that direction. A dark green mafic schist seen only in drill cuttings underlies the ridge at depth. An unexplained magnetic high anomaly overlies the ridge in this area.

Recent work by Goldstone Resources L.L.C. has mapped the continuation of the northwest limb of the sill anticlinal complex northward through Section 5, where land is presently closed to mineral development, and ultimately to the porphyry exposures along the Alyeska Pipeline where additional claims are held by the Company. The steeper-dipping southeast limb projects into the Treasure Creek valley, onto property held by Kinross Gold Corp.

Review of drill logs and soil sampling shows that the better gold values generally occur within zones of quartz veining, shear zones, and associated alteration in the schist wall rock, near or adjacent to the porphyritic sills, rather than within the sills themselves. Additionally several east-northeast faults and lineaments visible on aerial photography appear to correlate to the anomalous trends of gold values5 in soil samples shown on Figure 4. Most importantly, however, there is a direct correlation of higher grade drill intercepts with the anticlinal axis. Re-interpreted drill results are presented on cross-sections on Figure 5. Due to the exploration target at the time, the earlier drilling was targeted where the hanging wall section of schist is absent due to erosion. Only holes #3 and #8 were located near the fold axis and these contained the best gold intercepts.

Given the evidence of preferential mineralization along the axis of the northeast fold and localization of gold values in the adjacent schist unit rather than within the porphyry sills, and the generic tendency of mineralizing processes to occur more strongly above intrusive systems, the following recommendations are offered:

1. Conduct east-west soil sampling lines with track-mounted auger to extend soil data to the lower slopes either side of North Ridge.
2. Drill test the overlying schist stratigraphy above the porphyry sills; specifically, drill additional RC holes, beginning near and extending north of hole #9. Align holes to intersect ENE-trending linear structures, particularly where they may intersect an anticlinal axis.
